Welcome

You come to college having a lot of friends already, and throughout college you will make many more. However, how many of those friends do you, or will you, have such a deep bond with that after not seeing them for a couple of months, or years, you will still have intimate conversations with them. Or, how many people will you meet in life that you will have lengthy meaningful conversations during your first encounter with them just because you noticed a shirt, ring or necklace they were wearing? When you join a Greek organization all of this will become commonplace as you develop a home away from home.

Members of fraternities and sororities are expected to be leaders in academia, community service and campus organizations through which they create an amazing network. With the expectations to be great also comes the support to achieve greatness. Greek organizations have a built in support network to aid those who hit occasional bumps in the road. Individuals will have an abundance of mentors to help them develop as scholars, philanthropists and leaders.

Greek organizations offer you a place to develop all the skills required to successfully operate in the real world. In addition to having a network off well over 100 alumni and current members of each organization, you will have an opportunity to work with all areas of business management. Fraternities and sororities manage budgets of $10,000 to $30,000, plan events, recruit new members, educate those members, and support each other. Above all this, you will begin to work with various philanthropic and community agencies.
