Reservation Procedures
Reeve Union is pleased to provide rooms and services for meetings, gatherings and events. Friendly and professional staff will assist you throughout the planning process. These pages include general information that will help you plan your event. Further assistance is as close as a phone call or visit.
In the spring of each academic year, Reeve Memorial Union, schedules Reeve Union facilities for the following academic year by using a priority system. This system has traditionally been a first come, first served system (numbering requests as they are turned in). This year we will begin accepting fall reservation requests March 10 - 14, 2008. The requests will be sorted and assigned according to the following priorities:
-
RECOGNIZED STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS, DEPARTMENTS AND OFFICES DIRECTLY ASSOCIATED WITH THE UNIVERSITY- MAJOR EVENTS
This first priority allows for organizations, departments and offices (directly associated with the university) to schedule events. This opportunity is for planners of major conferences, programs, and events.
-
RECOGNIZED STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS AND OFFICES- ROUTINE MEETINGS
Scheduling of regular weekly meetings are taken after facilities have been reserved for major events.
-
ALL OTHER USERS
After recognized student organizations and University offices have scheduled events, all other requests are confirmed on a first come basis.
Reservations are taken from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. To make a reservation, call (920) 424-2435 or stop by the Reeve Union Administrative Offices, Room 104. Now you can alsorequest your room reservation online. Please consult with the UW-Oshkosh academic calendar before finalizing your event.
Your reservation is not confirmed until you provide all setup information and obtain necessary approvals. We will then send a written confirmation. All reservations are subject to Reeve Union Reservation Policies as described in this guide.
To ensure that your requests can be met, please make your reservation early. Reservations are subject to space, room and equipment availability and room assignments are subject to change.
